Speaker Biographies

Richard P. Kusserow served eleven years as the DHHS Inspector General and currently is CEO of Strategic Management Services, LLC and its subsidiary Compliance Resource Center, LLC that provides consultative services and solutions to healthcare providers on government health programs, and specializing in developing, implementing and measuring effective compliance programs for healthcare businesses. He possesses special and unique expertise involving fraud and abuse laws and regulations, such as the anti-kickback statute, qui tam actions, as well as environmental and product safety regulations and government contracting ethics. Under his personal leadership, the Firm has provided consulting assistance to over 2,500 companies, facilities, organizations and entities, large and small, for-profit and non-profit.

Jillian Bower, MPA, is the Vice President of Business Development at the Compliance Resource Center, LLC (CRC), a company that provides comprehensive and integrated end-to-end compliance management tools, that includes Hotline Service Center, Sanction Screening Services and Policy Resource Center. She has been a health care consultant and analyst at SM before moving over to CRC.
