The OIG Releases the Strategic Plan for 2014-2018
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) recently released the Strategic Plan for fiscal years (FYs) 2014 through 2018. The Strategic Plan focuses on the following four goals:

Fight Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

Promote Quality, Safety, and Value
-
Secure the Future
-
Advance Excellence and Innovation
The Strategic Plan also notes key strategies and indicators for achieving and measuring results. Strategies include conducting risk assessments; promoting compliance; using data and analytic tools; and performing targeted reviews in addition to other methods.
